I really need to grade my 9th grader's debate on Creation and Evolution, but it's such an involved, brain-consuming process that I am having NO PROBLEMS finding ways to otherwise preoccupy myself. Yeah, even blogging comes easy at times like these =).
So I started teaching the German 2 class here at school, and I must say that I love it. In part it's due to the kids in the class - FULL of personality! I love 'em! - but it also has to do with the fact that I love German. I am thrilled at this oportunity to learn it so much better and pass on to the kiddos a successful, meaningful time learning this language and hopefully a love for it as well.
A new nickname to add to the list below: Fraulein Simone. That was my German name when I took the class in high school, except it was just Simone back then. But every 4th period of the day, I am now Fraulein Simone.
Jezt muss ich meinen Arbeit machen, also bis spater!

Gut fur dich! Macht Spass!

Hi Lisa!
Just popped in to see what's up with our "old" neighbors. Did I happen to see your mom on the front page of the Kenosha News not too long ago? We enjoyed seeing her, but we really thought your parents moved!? Those Blomquists are EVERYWHERE!
Our Sarah is heading to Chile next month to study abroad until July. I think she is looking forward to a little independence.
I saw the pictures of your niece on Sarah's blog. She is so adorable!
I'll be chaperoning the Golden Strings to France, Germany, and the Czech Republic in June with Rebecca. We are both looking forward to the opportunity!
Hi to your family.
Seien Sie vorsichtig!

Kammy!
SO good to hear from you! Yes, my parents did indeed move, to Lawrence, KS, where Sarah lives. My mom just happened to be visiting some friends in Kenosh for a brief weekend when they snapped that shot. Go figure! We all got a kick out of that.
Please say hi to the family!
